Jazz Pretenders delve into fusion generating a sonic and modern sound. Electric jazz evokes the origins of the genre while combining contemporary elements, giving a glance into the future somewhere between jazz and groove., The chemistry between the saxophonist’s compositions and daring rhythms produces a live performance where the audience is taken on a musical journey full of emotions. Jazz Pretenders was founded in Barcelona by Jordi Blanch, whose family of musicians taught him to respect and value the importance of music . It is in New York—in 2002—where Jordi finds his language and style by drinking inthe big city energy, discovering the musical blend and richness that his ensemble create today.
